How to install Kalamy

Install on macOS

Kalamy is currently in beta and isn’t signed with Apple yet, so macOS may ask you to allow it manually.

Open the DMG

Double-click the downloaded Kalamy-latest-macOS.dmg file.

Drag to Applications

Drag the Kalamy icon into the Applications folder.

Allow Kalamy to run

When you open Kalamy for the first time, macOS may block it. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click "Open Anyway" next to the Kalamy message.

You only need to do step 3 once — after that, Kalamy opens normally.

Install on Windows

Kalamy installs per-user without admin rights. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning because the installer isn’t code-signed yet.

Run the installer

Double-click the downloaded Kalamy-Setup-Windows.exe file.

Bypass SmartScreen

If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.

Finish setup

Follow the installer. Kalamy launches automatically and appears in your system tray — click the ⌃ arrow on the taskbar if you don’t see it.

Kalamy registers in Windows “Apps & Features” for clean uninstall later.
